Terms and Conditions relating to this website and orders placed via this site.
Product availability and pricing
The prices published on the Wood, Wind and Reed website apply only to orders placed over the Internet. We love meeting our customers in the shop and have lots to offer the personal shopper, but please do not assume prices will be the same in the store as on the web.
What we can and can not do.
We hold extensive stocks of sheet music, accessories and reeds so orders for items that we do have, (the majority of orders), will be sent within 2 working days. If an item is not in stock at the time of order we expect to send it within 21 days. If a longer delay is anticipated, we will email you as soon as the delay is known.
Instruments: We will usually contact you first by email or telephone before sending an instrument to you. The confirmation email will advise you about the expected delivery time, so you can make arrangements to sign for the package and, if the instrument is a special order, advise you about any deposit that will be taken or special terms that may apply. All instruments will require time for us to complete setup and final testing.
Occasionally a product on our site becomes unavailable or changes price before we have time to make the change online. The prices we quote are in UK Sterling and are valid and effective only in the UK. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Wood, Wind and Reed shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the product(s). Since we do not take payment from you until we are ready to dispatch the order, it is unlikely that price and availability will be found to be incorrect after payment has been taken. But should this be the case and we cancel the order at that point, we will immediately refund your credit/debit card account.
Tax Charges
All prices are shown inclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax). VAT
is not applied to sheet music. VAT of 20% is applied to all
other items. Only goods sold and delivered to an address outside
the EU will not be subject to VAT.
