what we say; the student flute from nuvo is ultra-light, washable and durable, ideal for a young learner. It weighs just 235g and is approximately 60% of the weight of a metal flute. The student flute is a fully fledged instrument with c-foot and straight head joint.
the firstnote lip-plate: the patented firstnote lip plate may be beneficial for some very young students in the early stages of learning. It enables students to get a tone right from the very start and can be clicked on and off using the supplied tool with ease. The standard lip plate can be introduced when the student is ready.
cleaning: after each time you play, it's always best to give your flute a good clean using the stick and pull-through supplied. From time to time you can give your flute a bath in some warm soapy water. Don't be afraid to use lots of water; your nuvo flute loves it! You can even play in the shower or outside in the rain!
o rings: all the seals on your nuvo flute are made using silicone rubber o rings. From time to time you should apply a small amount of the o ring grease provided which will keep them supple and help with assembly of your flute. this set includes a moulded case with shoulder strap, pull through cleaning cloth & rod, set of key extensions, o-ring grease and instruction leaflet blue with black keys. also available in carbon, black & silver, green & black and pink & black.
