what we say; the Rovner versa x next generation flexible ligatures are designed for dark, rich, focused sound, with a versatility you cannot achieve with most other ligatures. The flaps are repositionable and a high-grade metal alloy cradle provides tonal versatility. When the flaps are positioned over the cradle it is rovner's darkest ligature yet, but by exposing the metal cradle to the reed you can add brilliance and presence to the sound. This allows the player to explore an enhanced tonal spectrum with incredible evenness of scale and locked-in intonation.

the x-2r is designed to fit most ebonite tenor saxophone mouthpieces.
